Oriole Golf & Tennis Club Of Margate, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Margate, Florida.
The Oriole golf course first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by Bill Dietsch. The course is located in a 55 or older adult community but open to golfers of all ages.
The medium-length layout has 3 sets of teeboxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience.
Blue tees: 6,418 yards, course rating 69.6, slope rating 116.
White tees: 6,070 yards, course rating 67.7, slope rating 112.
Red tees: 4,875 yards, course rating 67.6, slope rating 112.
$36 (cart included), played on Thursday, March 2009 at 10am
Front nine was over used due to half round pricing, but the back nine was in great shape. I am not a florida resident, so am not sure if the poor condition of the front nine was due to the season or what.
I liked the course and enjoyed my round there as did my playing partners.

Oriole Golf & Tennis Club has good maintenence, very good drainage, and an accomadating staff.
The signature hole #8 is fair but challenging. #12 is long and the green is extremly difficult. #14 is a short par-3 has an impossible green, if you land on green the ball will not stay on! Had to sneak a pitch from the flank! The rest of the course is normally challenging.
The 19th hole is a comfortable atmosphere, with good service,and good food with an adequate but limited selection.
